About this series

Why buyers choose Rear Rack

Rear-rack housings mount on the carrier above the back wheel. They suit cargo bikes, delivery fleets and long-tail frames where there is no usable down-tube space, and a flat body carries more cells than a frame-mounted case of the same footprint.

This is the family that gets specified for delivery and ride-hailing fleets, where the pack has to be swapped without tools and the bike still has to look ordinary. Our rack bodies run from a 310 mm short form up to 616 mm for long-tail frames, in both all-plastic and aluminium-tube construction.

Fourteen bodies are tooled. Where a rack needs a geometry we do not hold, we quote a mould — bring the carrier drawing or the space you have between the rails.

How many cells fit in a Rear Rack battery case?
Across our 14 Rear Rack housings the largest mould takes 104 cells on 18650 and 78 on 21700 — the same mould physically holds fewer of the fatter 21700 format. Cell count per model is listed on each product page.
Can I order a single Rear Rack case?
Yes — MOQ is one piece on every model in this series, quoted within five hours. Single-piece orders ship from stock for the common moulds; rare configurations are moulded to order.
How much can a rear rack case carry?
The mount is the limit, not the mould — a standard rack carries 25 kg. Our rear-rack housings are specified at 25 kg loaded, and we quote the mounting hardware separately when your rack is not the common pattern.
